DOI: 10.24387/CI.2020.3.3

Abstract:

As systems and organizations become more integrated, companies can develop new capabilities to better utilize data. As Business Intelligence integration grows operational data will no longer be under the sole purview of management. As BI systems improve and organizations integrate them for operational support, we can expect organizational culture to become more data driven. It will select for employees that can work with data better. Roles that support data analysis will be essential. The integration of Artificial Intelligence will allow for more exhaustive metrics. AI supported BI systems can provide on demand actionable analysis. The widespread integration of BI Machine Learning and Language Processing modules will allow for predictive analysis. The system will show analysts what they need to see based on query, usage, or declared KPIs.
